We live in it. :)
OK, seriously, our house and neighborhood are fantastic (and become a little more fantastic every year) but this is not our dream home. We haven't really given a whole lot of thought to it, if you want the truth, because it's likely WAYYYY far down the line. But, if we could have what we wanted here and now . . .
Our dream home goes something like this:
*LAND
*TREES (as opposed to one gigantic tree!)
*Log Cabin-style
*4 bedrooms or so
*a few big dogs
*rustic-style with lots of big windows and cedar and a fireplace
*Probably on some water
*Cory says: "a big-ass game room with lots of arcade cabinets" :)
*I say "Tons of built-in shelves, LARGE closets, cute decor, lots of things from Pottery Barn, a big ass kitchen with lots of lighting and a HUGE SINK, a mommy-only art studio, a wrap-around screened-in porch, a nice outside area for the kids, a pool, and a FREAKIN' PLAYROOM, among other things" :) not hard to please, am I??
*Nora agrees with me on the playroom thing. :)
That's about it really.
I only very recently started keeping pictures that I really like on my computer of cute homes. The funny thing is that they are all labeled "WANT". The other funny thing is that they are all pictures of in-the-wall storage. :) These are the ones I have:
